Simply Irresistable

There are many things here on this earth that are to many irresistable. Whether it be good or bad, we all have some kind of vice that just cannot be resisted. These vices to some can be addictions like smoking, drinking or eating. To others it could be a certain treat that when face to face, you just gotta have one. Maybe it is a free massage. Do you want a free massage? Of course! Some things are just simply irresistable.

If we can find things of this world that are irresistable, how much more irresistable would the Creator of this entire universe be? God is irresistable! You can not resist God. He is to amazing, to perfect, to glorious, to awesome to resist. Well why doesn't everyone believe in God? The best example I can think of is this, it is like sugar. My son, for instance, didn't have any sugar until his first birthday. He had no idea what sugar was. When he was given his first chocolate cup cake, he was in heaven. He tore right through it. Now he knows and every time he sees a brownie or cup cake he is screeming for it. Not everyone has seen God. When God reveals Himself to you, you will believe. He is the most irresistable. If there is anything that can not be resisted, it is God.

There are huge debates about whether or not we chose God or He choses us. The bible clearly states that we are chosen by God before time and predestined to come to Him. It also says that we must believe in His Son Jesus to be saved. God has an elect. We can't take that away from scripture, it is there over and over again. Does he then use us like robots? Do we have any choice or free will? This really gets into a deeper discussion but let me say that we can choose. Of course we can choose. Infact, to be saved by our Lord and Saviour, we must choose. Yet God still has an elect whom are His chosen people prepared for good works in Christ Jesus before time begain. How is this? Once again, God simply reveals His grace, glory and power to those whom He has chosen. Once God has opened the eyes of your heart, you can not resist Him. He is to good! You then come to God as a little child screeming for that cup cake. Give me more! Give me more! We do choose God once He has revealed Himself. He does not force us to choose Him, we just can't resist Him!
