The Mystery

We all hear the things of God and some think they are crazy, some mysterious, some unbelievable, some a fairy tale and .... Let me say first that all of these views are true. The Word of God is all these things. When ever we are talking about God we should have all of these feelings. God is a completely different type than us. If it were possible to fully understand God than He would no longer be God. If God's existance, plan, will and purpose made perfect sense to us than He simply would not be God. God cannot and will not ever be fully percieved. God is eternal past and eternal future. God was never created. God is triune. God is all knowing and all present. How can we really fully understand these things? We can't! Rejoice, we can't! That to me is proof that we are indeed talking about God. We are talking about God the creator not just some understandable made up god. Yes there are things we do know about God. There are alot of things. God most importantly is good. Knowing this alone gives us faith, hope and joy. God is good. God is just. God's justice is good. The truest justice. God is mercyfull. The grace and love of God is uncomprehendable. This is what I love about God. There is so much joy in learning about Him. The joy of God is a mystery itself. Joy that out last any circumstance. Peace that surpasses all understanding. This is the mystery of God revealed in man. It cannot be hidden. The light of God cannot be hidden. We will never fully understand God because He is God. We will however fully enjoy learning about Him forever. Although I do not know Him fully, I know Him. This is my peace, my strength, my joy and my salvation forever. Gods ways are unatural for us. It is those things which are unatural that reveal both Gods truth and mans blindness.
